I am a professor in Economics and in Management and Strategy at the University of Hong Kong. Before joining HKU, I taught at the Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California after receiving my Ph.D. in Economics from the London School of Economics. I am a Fellow of CEPR and was a visiting scholar at UChicago, Princeton, MIT, and Stockholm University. My current research focuses on: (1) the political economy and industrial organization of the media and (2) the impacts of AI on jobs, human capital, and wellbeing. Here is my curriculum vitae.
